Submissions accepted January 15 - March 1
Each year, the Arts Committee of the Acton Memorial Library invites artists to submit images of their work for consideration for upcoming exhibitions scheduled for the meeting room gallery.
Each March the Committee reviews work for one-person shows and sets the schedule for exhibits to begin the following September.
Various media including painting, drawing, printmaking, illustration, photography, textiles and mixed media are eligible. Three-dimensional work is considered for exhibit on the second floor of the library and in the glass case in the solarium.
Please submit a CD with eight images. Each digital must be no more than 1200 pixels at the longest dimension, saved at 72 PPI. Please title each file with the artist’s name and title of the work. Also include an image list with titles, media and dimensions; an artist’s statement; brief resume; and SASE for return of materials.
Submit materials to: Arts Committee, c/o Acton Memorial Library, 486 Main Street, Acton, MA 01720. Materials may also be left at the library’s circulation desk.
