Long Range Planning Focus Group

You Can Help the Library Plan for the Future!

Saturday, November 17, 1-4 p.m.
in the Faulkner Room,
Acton Town Hall

The library's Long Range Plan Committee invites the public to a focus group meeting. This is an opportunity for residents to discuss the role the library plays in the community, how to preserve what is best about the library, and what changes the library should make over the next five years. This information, combined with the input from almost 500 survey responses and other community data, will be used by the Long Range Plan Committee to develop goals and objectives for the library for the five years which begin July 2013. There will be a short optional tour of the library at 12:15 p.m on November 17 just before the focus group meeting. It will help participants become more familiar with the library, especially areas which they don’t use frequently. Anyone who would like to attend the focus group meeting is asked to please contact Library Director Marcia Rich at mrich @ acton-ma.gov.
