Obituary for William F. Wood

    William F. Wood, a former Acton resident, died Wednesday at the Soldiers’ Home in Chelsea, where he was taken in July of the present year. His funeral occurs to-morrow afternoon at 1 o’clock from the Universalist church, South Acton. The remains are to be buried in Mount Hope cemetery. Mr. Wood was a lieutenant in the 6th and 26th Mass regiments during the war. Since then he had been proprietor of the Middlesex Hotel, Concord; Centennial House, Lexington, and Maynard House, Maynard.
