James Wilson Fiske, a 29 year old "Soldier in Service", is recorded in the 1865 Massachusetts State Census for Acton, in household number 14/16; with Maria Fiske, age 28; Herbert Fiske, age 7; and Wilbur Fiske, age 4 (Lainhart, 1855 and 1865 Massachusetts State Censuses for Acton, p. 44).
