Oscar Dwelley, age 36, a moulder, is recorded as a resident of Boston, Mass. in the 1860 federal census, in residence with Catherine, age 30, born in Ireland, and four children, all born in Mass. ("1860 United States Federal Census," Ancestry.com).

Oscar Dwelley, age 39, a moulder, is recorded as a resident of Acton in the 1865 state census, in household with Catherine Maria Clotilda Dwelley, age 41, and four children (Lainhart, 1855 and 1865 Massachusetts State Censuses for Acton: 76).

The name Oscar Dwelley is included on the Acton Memorial Library Soldiers' Tablet, "The Men of Acton Who Fought For The Union."
