in
Cavendish County of  Windsor State of Vermont

On Aug 15, 1864, I first entered the service, as private, in Company G 7th Vermont Regiment Infantry.

 

Per General Order, No 64, I was finally discharged on July 25, 1865, after serving eleven months and ten days.

 

I was engaged at the Siege and Capture of the City of Mobile, Alabama, during the months of March and April, 1864 where a large number of prisoners some two million Dollars of stores and ammunition and several guns were captured with the city.
