in
Londonderry
County of Rockingham
State of New Hampshire

On the twentieth day of July, 1862, at Charlestown, Mass., I entered the service, as private, in Company I. 32nd Regiment of Mass. On account of disability, I was finally discharged on Feby 18th, at Convalescent Camp, Alexandria, Va.

 

I was confined in a hospital at Philadelphia. I was never taken prisoner.

The first battle I was engaged in was at Antietam.
