Emmett Hammer Dies At Home in this City

    Emmett J. Hammer, 74 died at his home 113 1-2 East North street, Tuesday morning after an illness of uremic (sic) poisoning. He was born in Findlay, but has spent the last seven years in Lima. Only his wife is left.
     Funeral services will be held at the residence of East North street, Thursday morning 10 o’clock. The services will be private. Interment will be in Woodlawn.

newspaper clipping     The funeral of Emmitt J. Hammer, aged seventy-four years, whose death occurred in Lima, will be held in that city to-morrow morning, at ten o’clock. The body will be laid at rest there. He as a native of Findlay and resided in Van Wert in an early day. HE was a brother of F.L. Hammer, of West Main street, and Mrs. A. Lynch, of North Washington street.
