Warren Ball married Sophia Lawrence Chaplin November 20, 1864 in Littleton. Sophia was the daughter of William and Sophia Chaplin of Acton and the sister of William Chaplin and Waldo Chaplin (Brown: 231).

Warren Bradford Ball, a 35 year old Harnessmaker, is recorded in the 1865 Massachusetts State Census for Acton, in household (dwelling no. 318/361) with Sophia Laurence Ball, age 22   (Lainhart, 1855 and 1865 Massachusetts State Censuses for Acton: 78).
