Warren L. Teel was born in Camridge, Mass. on December 16, 1843 to parents Jonathan W. and Emelie Teel  ("Massachusetts Vital Records, 1841–1910," AmericanAncestors.org).

Warren D. [sic] Teel, age 16, is recorded in the 1860 federal census for Acton in the household (dwelling no. 120) of Jonathan W. Teel, a farmer, and Emeline L. Teel  ("1860 United States Federal Census," Ancestry.com).

Warren L. Teele's name is included on the Acton Memorial Library Soldiers' Tablet, "The Men of Acton Who Fought For The Union."
