A.D. 1846
in
Katahdin County of Piscataquis
 State of Maine

As private in Company K. 10th Maine Regiment Infantry I entered the service on October 1st, 1861, and also was in Company H. 8th Maine, Regiment Infantry.

 

After serving three years and four months and as the war had come to a close I was finally discharged on May 10th, 1865 per General Orders.
